After months of delays caused by both the pandemic and visa issues, the Rev. David Hudson has finally arrived in Japan. His wife and fellow mission co-worker, the Rev. Sue Hudson, will join him there soon. The two are serving at the invitation of the United Church of Christ in Japan.
As Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) mission co-workers based in Japan over the past several years, my wife, Ann, and I have made numerous mission trips to Myanmar to further our partnership with the Presbyterian Church of Myanmar (PCM).
At a meeting of the Japan Mission, an agreement in principle was reached to reaffirm the purpose of the Japan Mission in strategic alliance with Presbyterian World Mission and Yodogawa Christian Hospital of Osaka, Japan, to serve as a mission society that will contribute to the mission of Jesus Christ in Asia and beyond.
